Description

Genuine USGI M14 "Big Red" birch (heavy pattern) stock with tiger pattern coverage of at 50-75%%. The tiger pattern is caused by differential stain absorption from closed vs open grain stripes in the wood - parts of the stock darken more than others when stain is applied.

As a general rule, you will need to refinish the stock to see the best tiger effect - the tiger birch stock pictures you see out there are almost all refinished. But they are stunning.

Very Good Plus - looks like an issued stock. Will have small dings and finish rubs. These should be fixable if you intend to refinish the stock. Metal shows wear.

Comes with all stock metal installed, good to very good condition butt plate. Most Big Reds do not have inspection and proof stamps.
